Martin brings extensive leadership experience to Quinn Education, having served as headteacher of five primary schools. He has also held a wide range of educational roles, including as one of His Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI), a Local Authority School Improvement Advisor, a school governor, and a member of an Interim Executive Board.
With a strong track record of working in areas of disadvantage, Martin specialises in school improvement, leadership appraisal, developing senior and middle leaders, creating a culture of improvement, supporting governance, and safeguarding. His insight and practical expertise make him a trusted adviser for schools seeking sustainable improvement and high-quality leadership development.
Currently headteacher of a rural primary school, a governor for a primary school and a member of a local authority Child Sexual Abuse Priority Work Group, Martin combines his professional knowledge with a passion for education that ensures children in every context can thrive.
Beyond education, he is a keen endurance athlete and has completed several Ironman triathlons both in the UK and internationally.
